I was born and raised in Coquitlam, B.C, Canada and was fortunate to have parents who loved the outdoors. I have been fishing since I was 2 years old, and took up fly fishing and tying flies at the age of 11.
I am self taught in both fields and bought my first fly rod, reel and tying kit with my paper-route money. Shortly there after I started tying flies for 2 local fly shops in Vancouver. I then moved to Whistler in 1991 and skied and fished my ass off until 2004. Needing a change I sold everything I had and with a pack on my back and a rod in my hand I spent 1995/96 fishing the entire coast line of Australia and Tasmania.

I fell in love with the place, the people and of course the fishing. I now live and work as a fishing guide in tropical North Queensland.
I have traveled and fished extensively throughout BC, Alberta, Alaska, Hawaii, The North and South Islands of New Zealand, Australia, The Yukon and Tasmania. I love sight fishing for anything that swims particularly Large Trout and Permit.I live to fish and fish for a living!
